Campaigns in Search AI & E-commerce

A campaign in Search AI refers to a targeted strategy that influences search results, recommendations, or promotions to achieve a specific business goal. Campaigns help businesses boost visibility, increase sales, or drive engagement by prioritizing certain products, brands, or offers in search results and recommendations. Campaigns can be set for specific user segments, product types, or even time periods (e.g., holidays, clearance sales).

How to set a Campaing #

1. Click Button Add first Campaign and start to set Settings first:

  • Campaign Id: set identification name
  • Select Language
  • Campaign Duration: A common rule is to run the campaign for at least one full business cycle to account for full potential

2. Add Series

A series in Search AI refers to a grouping of related products, searches, or recommendations that are presented together based on a structured relationship. Series help improve product discovery and guide users toward relevant results, enhancing both engagement and conversion rates.
You can create a New series, or select from already created one

3. Add Promotions

You can specify various Rules for boosting or burring some Items based on their Properties, so you can apply these rules to your recommendation:

Boost: refers to the process of increasing the visibility of certain search results, products, or content to improve engagement and conversions. In Search AI, boosting ensures that priority items appear higher in rankings based on business goals, user behavior, or relevance. For example:
-> Boost new arrivals in search results.
-> Boost “Nike” brand products when searching for “running shoes.”

Bury: Manually pushing down or suppressing certain products in search results to deprioritize them. Merchandising teams often bury low-margin, outdated, or irrelevant items to improve search efficiency.
When Should You Bury a Product?
▸ If the product has low sales & engagement.
▸ If it’s out of stock but still showing up.
▸ If the product doesn’t match search intent.
▸ If a better alternative exists (e.g., newer models).

4. Assign created campaign to an already existing Recommendation or Assign to Search Pipeline, depends on your Marketing strategies and where you want more engagement
